U.S. internationals Tim Weah, Weston McKennie and Juventus crashed out of the 2024-25 Coppa Italia Wednesday evening, falling to Empoli in a penalty shootout after a regulation 1-1 draw.

Empoli opened up the scoring early in the first half, through attacker Youssef Maleh just 24 minutes into the match.
